Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI)

Salary: USD 64,000–87,000 annually, plus an annual bonus or role-based uncapped sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Frame ambiguous business problems into clear analytical questions and practical requirements.
• Define and refine KPIs with business partners and subject-matter experts.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, root causes, risks, opportunities, and process inefficiencies.
• Build reports, dashboards, datasets, and analytical views using Power BI and comparable reporting platforms.
• Validate source data, transformations, joins, calculations, business rules, and edge cases before sharing insights.
• Translate findings into practical recommendations, improve reporting scalability, and manage competing cross-functional priorities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in business, analytics, operations, finance, or a related field; internships and academic projects are considered.
• Hands-on experience building or maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, or analytical views.
• Strong Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, formulas, data preparation, and quality checks.
• SQL experience for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and repeatable analysis.
• Ability to work across CRM, data platform, and BI environments while understanding source systems, business processes, definitions, and transformation logic.
• Strong analytical rigor, communication, organization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Python for data preparation, automation, exploratory analysis, or scalable analytical workflows.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, or other low-code automation tools.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics, OPI/GSP applications, and executive-ready PowerPoint presentations and visualizations.
