Data Analyst 2 (Power BI)

Location: United States; office setting or work from home, with travel up to 10% based on team needs.

Salary: $73,000–$86,500 per year.

What you will do

• Lead data analysis, reporting, data integration, and ad hoc ETL activities across projects.
• Gather, cleanse, map, integrate, and validate data from primary and secondary sources.
• Design, publish, and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
• Use Power Query and DAX to build reusable measures, automate reporting logic, and optimize refresh and report performance.
• Troubleshoot data-quality issues, coding errors, and reporting discrepancies while maintaining recurring reporting deliverables.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders, and provide technical support to junior analysts.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, semantic models, report design, publishing, security, refresh management, and performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office, plus demonstrated data analysis experience using SQL and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of data warehouses, data integration, ETL processes, data structures, and reporting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, public policy, business, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis, reporting, data integration, business intelligence, or system implementation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, documentation, organization, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with R, SPSS, Python, or comparable technologies.
