Project Engineer (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Calgary, AB, Canada; travel to field locations as required

What you will do

• Lead engineering and technical activities from early project development through closeout.
• Manage engineering scope, technical deliverables, budgets, schedules, and project risks.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and review technical deliverables for operational, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, procurement, and technical evaluations for equipment, materials, and services.
• Act as the primary technical contact for vendors and contractors during fabrication, construction, and installation.
• Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout, including resolving technical issues and RFIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• P.Eng. or P.L. (Eng.) designation, or eligibility for registration with APEGA.
• 5+ years of progressive project engineering or project management experience in the energy, midstream, or industrial sectors.
• Experience with greenfield and brownfield capital projects, gas processing facilities, pipelines, terminals, and related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, industry codes, and standards, including ABSA, AER, BCOGC, TSBC, CSA, ASME, OH&S, and OSHA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; ability to travel to field locations and hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

• Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERP system.
