Rotating Engineer (Reliability)

Location: Courtright, Ontario, Canada; on-site role

Salary: CAD 114,400–164,400 annually

What you will do

• Lead the site reliability program and develop and maintain the five-year reliability plan.
• Analyze reliability data, MTBF trends, equipment criticality, and failure patterns to guide improvement plans.
• Lead root cause failure analyses and manage corrective actions for major equipment failures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and EHS on repair planning, equipment improvements, capital projects, and turnarounds.
• Develop maintenance procedures and support preventive, predictive, and condition-based monitoring programs.
• Maintain CMMS equipment and material data, manage Management of Change activities, and ensure adequate spare parts for critical assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least three years of experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, or oil and gas.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance, failure analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Previous rotating equipment experience in a continuous chemical production or refinery environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work alternative schedules on a short-term basis.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening is required, including criminal background, drug and alcohol testing, driver’s abstract, employment references, and education verification.
