Process Engineer 2027 Summer Intern (Semiconductors)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States; onsite work in a semiconductor process lab and clean room environment

What you will do

• Develop new or modified processes and methods for semiconductor manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation.
• Work with group engineers to define criteria and formats for hardware and process evaluations.
• Compile, analyze, and present experimental and test data to determine process and material specifications.
• Interpret physical and chemical behaviors during process characterization.
• Create and revise standard operating procedures and document technical tasks.
• Complete a hands-on internship project and present a final project report.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in nanoscience, engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, or a related field.
• Experience with statistical design and analysis of experiments.
• Fluent English is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicals.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
