Process Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor process operations for compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex process, quality, and yield problems and document revised specifications.
• Analyze operational data, establish metrics, and track performance against objectives.
• Use SPC and FDC signals to troubleshoot equipment and process issues and drive improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional task force teams and plan, execute, analyze, and deliver projects on schedule.
• Train, mentor, develop, and lead associates while communicating issues and solutions.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and stand for up to 12 hours, including lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• At least 3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Solid knowledge of SPC and FDC for troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results on time.
• A two-year technical degree or certificate in a technical science field is preferred; equivalent education and experience may be accepted.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma certification or experience using Lean improvement tools.
• Working knowledge of Excel, JMP, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Process or manufacturing knowledge and experience following Out of Control Action Plan recoveries.
• Experience proactively interpreting FDC and SPC signals to prevent or recover from tool downtime.
