Summer 2027 Engineering Intern

What you will do

• Implement manufacturing process improvements, including automation and robotics integration.
• Design, lay out, monitor, and improve assigned processes while resolving technical issues.
• Apply structured engineering methods to improve process control, yields, capacity, and technology capability.
• Document processes through work instructions, training guides, and certification tests.
• Collaborate with mentors, champions, leadership, and cross-functional teams on design for manufacturability and cost savings.
• Present project updates to local leadership and participate in corporate trade shows and design reviews.

Requirements

• Current college junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of project management, structured problem solving, and data-based decision-making.
• Ability to design and analyze experiments using statistical tools.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must comply with US export control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems.
