What you will do
- Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily goals.
- Coordinate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and operations leadership to drive results.
- Resolve operational and personnel issues affecting the assigned functional area.
- Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms.
- Use workload-planning tools to complete scheduled work and fulfill orders to required standards.
- Investigate discrepancies and variances while maintaining quality across multiple functions.
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience with warehouse management systems or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
- Previous leadership experience and a bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic clerical, data-entry, and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, build effective working relationships, and perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a distribution center with varying heights and temperatures, moderate noise, material-handling equipment, and occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process-improvement methods.
