Manager, Project Controls, Planning & Scheduling (Electric Power Infrastructure)

Location: Westwood, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; availability to work up to five days in the office may be required. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire and emergency storm assignments are required.

Annual salary: $157,320–$174,800, plus potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead planning and scheduling across the full life cycle of complex transmission projects.
• Oversee schedule analytics, critical-path reviews, forecasting, progress measurement, KPIs, and performance reporting.
• Manage schedule baselines, change control, cost loading, budget and forecast monitoring, and variance reporting.
• Identify schedule risks and conflicts involving materials, task completion, outages, ROW corridors, and substations.
• Standardize and improve Primavera-based scheduling processes, reports, templates, and quality controls.
• Assign work, coach employees, evaluate performance, and develop planners, schedulers, and analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent field.
• 10–12 years of related experience preferred, including at least five years managing large, complex, multi-year projects.
• Three to five years of prior managerial experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge of project management and project scheduling theories and methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera and Unifier Project Controls or comparable project management information systems is highly desirable.
• PMP certification is preferred.
