Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Blaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite five days per week

Salary: $76,000–$141,100 per year, with potential annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing projects from concept through implementation, including plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and safety requirements.
• Analyze production workflows, equipment utilization, labor efficiency, material movement, and facility layouts to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Support CAPEX projects by specifying equipment, preparing cost and ROI analyses, coordinating installations, and validating performance.
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, job aids, and process improvements that improve efficiency, quality, ergonomics, and repeatability.
• Investigate manufacturing, equipment, quality, and production issues through data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders and collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, production, maintenance, and operations teams while mentoring engineering technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience evaluating, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes in a production environment.
• Experience leading root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, process optimization, and waste reduction.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation; experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and with tooling or fixtures.
• Experience with MRP/ERP and PLM systems, statistical analysis, process capability studies, technical writing, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
