Operations Specialist

What you will do

• Communicate with customers by phone and email to understand needs involving cancellations, replacements, backorders, and other service issues.
• Research customer and supplier issues and coordinate solutions with internal teams, vendors, and external resources.
• Manage fulfillment and post-order service for an assigned group of suppliers.
• Use supplier performance data to identify trends, service interruptions, and opportunities for quality improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to enforce contracts and meet performance expectations.
• Develop product expertise for assigned suppliers and stay current with relevant technologies.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience with demonstrated success.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, manage ambiguity, and resolve complex issues.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Experience working in a software or technology company.
