Specialist - Supply Chain

What you will do

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, requests for quotes, and supplier purchase orders.
• Review purchase order variances, past-due orders, aged unconfirmed orders, and delivery or receiving discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier data, quote tables, item master and organization attributes, part parameters, and supplier codes.
• Support cost-saving proposals, alternative sourcing, supplier negotiations, and returns to vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering, strategic sourcing, accounts payable/receivable, and supplier quality teams.
• Support ERP integration projects and represent Component Operations in new product introduction teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Planning, organizational, analytical, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must work at the designated manufacturing site; the position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
• Ability to work primarily indoors, with approximately 80% sitting, 10% standing, and 10% walking.
