Senior .NET Software Engineer (Azure)

Location: Mexico City (Reforma); hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $90K–$100K annually, with possible performance-based bonuses or role-based incentives.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain high-performance .NET services, including RESTful APIs and background workers.
• Deploy, configure, and operate services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, including resource allocation, horizontal scaling, and observability.
• Define service roadmaps and API contracts with architects, product managers, and DevOps engineers.
• Design and document architectures integrating multiple internal platform systems with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Lead code and design reviews covering distributed systems, security, and clean architecture.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and use AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on modern .NET and C#.
• Production experience designing and operating RESTful APIs and background worker services.
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes microservices, including writing manifests, managing workloads, and diagnosing cluster issues.
• Practical proficiency with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architecture, Azure-native services, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems design patterns, secure inter-service communication, troubleshooting, and Agile collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding agents such as Cursor, Claude, or Codex.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform for Azure.
• Familiarity with Datadog or Grafana, structured logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
