Senior C++ Developer (Accounting Desktop Applications)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Develop commercial applications using C++ and Microsoft technologies.
• Maintain and enhance a desktop accounting application used by a large client base.
• Support existing products and contribute to new services and applications.
• Work with MS SQL and REST, SOAP, and WebSockets data transfer protocols.
• Apply object-oriented programming, object-oriented design, design patterns, and class diagrams.
• Use AI coding assistants for code reviews, refactoring, test generation, and multi-file development tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial application development experience with C++ and C#.
• Knowledge of MFC, Microsoft OLE, Win32, ATL, COM, OAuth, and Git.
• Knowledge of .NET and Windows Forms, or willingness to develop these skills.
• Experience with MS SQL, REST, SOAP, and WebSockets.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants for planning, testing, refactoring, and agentic multi-file workflows.
• Good communication skills and good spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET and Windows Forms.
• Experience structuring AI prompts and plans for complex multi-file changes.
