Senior Project Manager (Electrical Data Centers)

Location: Onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska is also listed in the posting. The role includes frequent visits to outdoor commercial and industrial construction sites.

What you will do

• Define project scope, goals, schedules, budgets, risks, and mitigation strategies with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Build and lead teams of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors while assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, personnel, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Supervise electrical project execution, tracking progress, costs, timelines, safety, and quality requirements.
• Manage scope changes and change orders, maintain project documentation, and communicate status to clients and stakeholders.
• Complete project reviews, deliverables, final reports, and invoices at project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of recent experience as a Project Manager in the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with project management tools including Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, scheduling, take-off meetings, change order requests, and client communication.
• NFPA 70E or OSHA certification and commitment to safety and quality standards are required.
