Location: Chester, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site plant work with rotating shifts, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and document electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment throughout the plant.
• Perform preventive, corrective, emergency, warranty, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Calibrate pressure, flow, temperature, and other sensing instrumentation, primarily Rosemount equipment.
• Install and test new equipment according to applicable safety standards and maintain work orders and the Preventive Maintenance System.
• Operate and maintain instrument and control testing, calibration, and repair areas and assigned tools.
• Support redesigns of instrumentation, control, and electrical systems and perform other work needed for safe, clean, and efficient facility operation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with electronic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or formal technical training.
• Required familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributed Control Systems, including troubleshooting instrumentation and controls within the process.
• Experience calibrating instrumentation and using multimeters and smart calibrators; ability to read electrical prints and P&IDs.
• Ability to troubleshoot OMRON and Allen Bradley PLC hardware and logic using the relevant software, including SLC 504.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call availability is required.

Nice to have

• Energy-from-waste or power plant experience.
• Ability to learn and use the Citect operator interface system, including graphic screens, ci-code, alarm tags, and trend tags.
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot Ethernet communications in the plant control system.
• Openness to occasional cross-discipline activities and learning new skills.
