Electrical & Instrument Mechanic

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 480 VAC motors, motor starters, VFDs, and related electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot 24 VDC and 120 VAC control circuits and maintain PLC and DCS systems.
• Perform instrument calibration and repair control valves, analyzers, and other industrial instrumentation.
• Complete maintenance work orders and record accurate information in SAP.
• Communicate equipment repair status and operating issues to production, maintenance, and technical teams.
• Support equipment improvement projects, reliability teams, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant electrical maintenance or industrial instrumentation experience, or an associate degree, journeyman certification, NCCER certification, or related vocational/technical program.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining industrial electrical or instrumentation equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice to have

• Experience with 480 VAC motors, motor starters, VFDs, PLCs, DCS systems, and electrical control circuits.
• Experience with instrument calibration, control valves, analyzers, SAP, or similar maintenance management systems.
