Procurement Consultant (Supply Chain)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; local and onsite

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies for labor, services, materials, and equipment supporting business unit needs.
• Write and negotiate complex, high-value contracts covering pricing, business requirements, performance criteria, terms, conditions, and risk mitigation.
• Manage supplier performance, contract compliance, contract administration, and procurement risks.
• Lead cross-functional category teams during sourcing events and direct related operational activities.
• Use market, supplier, and spend analyses to support category strategies and competitive solicitations.
• Manage contracts for manufactured equipment and materials, including economic price adjustments, replacement programs, and credit programs.

Requirements

• Must work locally onsite in Columbus, Ohio.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including experience with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in supply chain category management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or a related field, or 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry is preferred.
