Engineering Manager (Digital Assets)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration expected 10+ days per month, based on manager and team needs.

Annual base salary: $212,000–$265,000 USD for positions based in California. Equity, bonuses, and commissions are not included.

What you will do

• Lead engineering for a greenfield integration of XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, and cross-border settlement capabilities into the hirify.global Treasury platform.
• Build and manage a team of up to four full-stack .NET developers while remaining hands-on with production coding.
• Design full-stack solutions across .NET backend services and Angular or React frontends with enterprise-grade reliability, security, and auditability.
• Lead a fast-paced Kanban workflow, shipping, presenting, testing, and iterating on software daily.
• Partner with digital assets, product, compliance, and treasury specialists to turn emerging requirements into shippable features.
• Establish coding standards, review processes, testing strategies, and deployment practices for a pioneering product effort.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background in .NET and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• More than 2 years of experience leading engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and professional development.
• Production experience in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain involving financial transactions or digital asset activities.
• Experience shipping software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with changing requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across product, compliance, treasury, and engineering teams.
• Hands-on leadership approach and ability to write production code alongside the team.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or cross-border settlement.
• Experience with XRP Ledger, RLUSD, or hirify.global products.
• Background in corporate treasury, treasury management systems, or enterprise financial software.
• Experience integrating traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for digital asset products in financial services.
