Senior Contracts and Legal Operations Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; availability during U.S. West Coast business hours is required.

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year, plus potential incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage intake, triage, and negotiation of NDAs, MSAs, Order Forms, and other standardized commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with attorneys on complex agreements, non-standard positions, material deviations, and matters requiring legal judgment.
• Own and improve contracting processes, templates, playbooks, fallback positions, approval paths, and documentation.
• Develop self-service documentation and enablement materials for Sales and other business stakeholders.
• Partner with Business Systems on CLM, contract-repository, reporting, and legal technology initiatives using tools such as Ironclad, Salesforce, Atlassian Jira, and Mindtickle.
• Apply AI to legal intake, issue identification, drafting, negotiation, knowledge management, and workflow improvement.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant commercial contracts or legal operations experience, preferably including in-house experience in SaaS or enterprise technology.
• Experience independently negotiating standardized commercial agreements within established templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and escalation frameworks.
• Experience managing high-volume contract intake or legal queues.
• Strong issue-spotting, escalation judgment, project management, communication, organization, and professional judgment.
• Ability to develop business-facing process documentation and connect workstreams to measurable business outcomes.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States during U.S. West Coast business hours.

Nice to have

• Paralegal, contracting, project management, privacy, or legal operations training or certification.
• Experience with Ironclad, Salesforce, Atlassian Jira, Mindtickle, or comparable legal technology and business systems.
• Experience with CLM implementation, configuration, or optimization projects.
• Experience building contract-repository reporting and data analytics for business stakeholders.
• SaaS commercial contracting experience, including subscription models, data processing agreements, and AI-related contract terms.
