Operations Supervisor (Audio-Visual): Leading hotel and convention-center floor operations, technician workflows, customer service, and intermediate audiovisual equipment setup with an accent on event execution, team development, and operational efficiency. Focus on troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating event communications, maintaining equipment security and condition, and supporting customers during live events.
Location: Onsite in a hotel or convention-center environment; work may take place across multiple hotel locations and includes irregular hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Hourly pay range: $18.93–$24.60.

What you will do
- Lead daily floor operations, including equipment setup, refresh, removal, workflow coordination, and flowsheet completion.
- Direct technicians and support operational efficiency for venue management and Workforce.
- Coordinate event communications, attend venue meetings, and monitor events throughout the day.
- Meet with guests and clients onsite to confirm needs are met and equipment is operating correctly.
- Lead the setup, operation, breakdown, security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
- Train and mentor technicians while troubleshooting technical issues and resolving problems quickly.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of audiovisual experience required.
- 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of technical theory, advanced problem-solving skills, and experience leading workflows and team members.
- External applicants must complete required training and certifications within 60 days of starting.
- A valid driver’s license is required for positions operating company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of event operations.
