Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Architect Manager (Microsoft Security)

Location: Houston, Texas, with an additional location in Dallas, Texas. Hybrid work combines in-person work in local hirify.global offices and client sites with remote work; travel may include local or out-of-state client travel. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 annually. Target bonus opportunity: 12%; estimated total cash range: $140,000–$224,000.

What you will do

• Lead strategy, planning, design, migration, and implementation of Microsoft security and compliance solutions.
• Architect and implement Microsoft Purview capabilities, including information protection, data loss prevention, data lifecycle management, and eDiscovery.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 security solutions using Purview, Defender, Intune, Sentinel, Entra, Azure, Microsoft Graph, and related technologies.
• Partner with clients and executives to translate complex business and security challenges into practical solutions.
• Manage project work plans, lead engagement teams, and mentor, coach, and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants.
• Support client proposals, business development, and long-term professional relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Strong technical design, implementation, and administration experience with the Microsoft 365 Security suite.
• Specific experience architecting and implementing Microsoft Purview across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
• Experience with global and large Microsoft 365 tenants, team leadership, supervision, performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio and Access experience is also relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCC and GCCH environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), CISSP, or a similar certification.
