Senior Architect - Microsoft Ecosystem & Modern Workplace (Microsoft)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week

Base salary: $135,000–$168,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation and incentives

What you will do

• Develop reference architectures, enterprise standards, technology strategies, and roadmaps across the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Lead technology assessments, proofs of concept, vendor evaluations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Direct Power Platform governance and adoption, including Power Apps and Power Automate for business process automation.
• Define Microsoft Copilot and AI adoption strategies, evaluate use cases, and govern data access, risk, and compliance.
• Establish the enterprise approach to Microsoft Fabric, data integration, analytics, and reporting.
• Lead architecture for Microsoft security, collaboration, and modern workplace platforms, including Defender, Entra ID, Purview, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and Intune.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Broad, hands-on Microsoft ecosystem expertise with depth in security, Power Platform, Copilot, collaboration, endpoint management, or Fabric.
• Experience translating business requirements into secure, practical enterprise solutions and working across data, infrastructure, applications, and security architecture.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise solutions, with strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Enterprise-scale delivery of Power Platform or Copilot solutions.
• Experience operating Unified Endpoint Management with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles and relevant Microsoft certifications.
