Senior Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer (Azure)

Location: Onsite in the greater Seattle area at the office in Bellevue, Washington. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay: $155,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure, environments, networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
• Build infrastructure-as-code and automation for tenant provisioning, deployments, and routine operations.
• Secure Azure Kubernetes clusters, containers, images, and AI/ML workloads.
• Monitor cloud resources, analyze performance, troubleshoot incidents, and lead postmortems.
• Collaborate with engineering, external teams, and compliance stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions and remediate control gaps.
• Evaluate new security services, participate in architecture and code reviews, and improve infrastructure cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical or electronics engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting public cloud networking and security.
• Experience with TCP/IP IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, WAN, Wi-Fi, office networks, and network security.
• 5+ years of Azure networking or Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CD automation using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, or YAML templates.
• Experience administering Windows and macOS endpoints at enterprise scale, including Intune, Jamf, packaging, scripting, and automated deployment.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Experience securing Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms and services.
• Cloud, network, or security certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-700, CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE.
• Interest in researching emerging technologies and developing creative, cost-efficient infrastructure solutions.
