Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Painesville, Ohio, USA; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: $26.95–$35.46 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery, production equipment, conveyors, motors, pneumatic tools, and facility systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, control, and PLC-related failures using schematics, drawings, manuals, and testing instruments.
• Install and repair electrical circuits, wiring, conduit, panels, relays, switches, motors, controls, alarms, and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspect completed repairs, maintain service logs, and order replacement parts.
• Support engineers and production teams with corrective actions, equipment readiness, downtime reduction, quality improvement, and special projects.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized production and shop areas, including facility, grounds, HVAC, plumbing, masonry, painting, and housekeeping work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 12 months of employment with hirify.global; equipment or process troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate industrial mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and HMI maintenance skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, computer skills, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must complete the 60-week hirify.global Operator to Maintenance Technician Training Program and transition from an initial weekday day shift to a 12-hour rotating schedule.

Nice to have

• Trade school certification or an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance.
