Continuous Improvement Manager (AI)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and 20% internationally.

Salary: $88,000–$134,300 annually. A later posting reference lists $88,000–$111,150 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide continuous improvement strategy across manufacturing, planning, purchasing, sourcing, and manufacturing engineering.
• Define and deploy standardized, auditable processes, standard work, MOR, visual management systems, Gemba boards, dashboards, and control towers.
• Identify and implement emerging tools, software, methodologies, and AI solutions to improve execution speed, decision-making, cost, efficiency, and quality.
• Analyze workflows, KPIs, bottlenecks, and root causes while leading cost-reduction and process-improvement programs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and align product engineering, design for manufacturing, manufacturing, and manufacturing engineering.
• Present continuous improvement project status and business impact to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operational execution, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operational leadership.
• Demonstrated progression in responsibility, scope, and organizational impact.
• Experience with complex, multi-site, global, matrixed, electrical manufacturing, OEM, contract manufacturing, or unionized environments is preferred.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including DMAIC, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
