Location: Hybrid in the Seattle/Tacoma, Washington, USA area, with on-site work required as needed

What you will do

• Design, architect, implement, and support enterprise and multi-datacenter networks across routing, switching, campus fabric, and security domains.
• Architect and maintain Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-Access fabric environments, including tenant design, segmentation, underlay and overlay architecture, and policy integration.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing, VXLAN/EVPN segmentation, high-availability switching, and multi-site architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, incident escalation, implementation planning, peer design reviews, vendor integrations, and network documentation.
• Develop Python and Ansible infrastructure-as-code pipelines for configuration consistency, compliance, and policy deployment; mentor engineers and participate in on-call support.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; the role is not sponsorship eligible and is not open to F-1 visa holders.
• 8–11 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise network design, TCP/IP, the OSI model, switching, BGP, OSPF, Cisco ACI, and Cisco SD-Access.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewall architecture, network segmentation, and NAC technologies such as Forescout or Aruba ClearPass.
• CCNA or higher certification required; CCNP or CCIE preferred.
• High school diploma and bachelor's degree required, although relevant additional experience may substitute for the degree at the manager’s discretion.

Nice to have

• CCNP or CCIE certification.
• Wireless certifications.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Brocade equipment.
