Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Design, deploy, integrate, configure, test, and maintain enterprise network architecture, including data center fabrics, SD-WAN, overlay networks, VPNs, wireless networks, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Lead research, deployment, and configuration of network access and remote access solutions while ensuring compliance with IT policies and service-level agreements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Network Engineers and other IT staff, including support for network incidents and outages through final resolution.
• Plan and review network connectivity, access, and availability for business continuity and disaster recovery programs.
• Analyze network operations data, recommend infrastructure improvements, and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and configuration libraries.
• Collaborate with external organizations, partners, and technical resources to improve infrastructure reliability and capacity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• At least four years of experience in computer programming and network operations analysis.
• Advanced experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, VMware NSX, and VMware Aria Operations for Networks.
• Strong knowledge of DMVPN, IPSec, SSL and site-to-site VPNs, Leaf-Spine data center architectures, Cisco NX-OS and IOS-XE, and high-availability networking.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs, EVPN/VXLAN, multicast, policy-based routing, and route redistribution.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, perform quantitative analysis, use advanced computer software, and handle specified equipment and ladder-related physical activities.
