Manufacturing Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Kalispell, Montana, United States; onsite manufacturing work

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, identify root causes and corrective actions, and prepare reports for assembly and system-testing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday manufacturing problem-solving.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to work onsite with extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, hand and power tools, and work in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment with required personal protective equipment and potentially challenging noise conditions.
