Senior Project Manager (Healthcare and Life Sciences)

Location: United States; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Consultants may work onsite at client locations based on engagement needs and are expected to work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week between client engagements. Office and coworking markets include New York City, Charlotte, Greater Seattle, San Francisco Greater Bay Area, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

Base salary: $105,000–$126,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight and align project milestones with day-to-day activities.
• Own the quality, content, and distribution of project reports, dashboards, schedules, budgets, risks, and other deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across CMC, medical affairs, clinical, nonclinical, quality, regulatory, finance, legal, and contracts functions.
• Manage project financials, including budget development, invoice review, actuals tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Lead product development meetings, stakeholder communications, strategic planning, and risk mitigation activities.
• Balance budget, quality, timeline, and scope while maintaining client service and hirify.global/LBG quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in life sciences product development and familiarity with nonclinical, analytical, clinical, and regulatory functions.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, including successful delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Experience managing United States Government contracted programs and project financials.
• Fluency in MS Project or other scheduling software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation, consensus-building, and collaboration skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or a master's degree in project management, business, or a related discipline.
• BS degree in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, cGXP guidelines, and FDA regulatory requirements.
