Senior R&D Project Manager

Location: Hybrid onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts, four days per week, with one remote day per week

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage new product development and sustaining engineering projects from inception through post-launch.
• Establish schedules, budgets, priorities, deliverables, and resource plans across multiple concurrent projects.
• Partner with Product Management and cross-functional teams to advance business-critical R&D projects.
• Define project risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans; report outcomes and escalate issues when needed.
• Drive adherence to Nova Design Control and Stage Gate processes.
• Lead Bio Ecosystem and Core Team meetings, resolve R&D issues, and support product approval and launch activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in a regulated industry; medical or pharmaceutical experience is preferred.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of design control, stage-gate methodologies, and product development life cycles.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Confluence.
• Experience with budget management, risk assessment, strategic planning, reporting, and management presentations.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or Project Management.

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
