Claims Manager - Leave & Disability

What you will do

• Oversee disability and leave claim administration in compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ERISA, PFML, paid sick leave, PWFA, and pregnancy-related leave regulations.
• Lead, support, and develop a team of claims professionals.
• Evaluate complex claims, make informed decisions, and provide direction on disability and leave management.
• Develop and implement claims policies and procedures while monitoring KPIs, quality, audits, and operational capacity.
• Collaborate with HR, legal, operational teams, and global partners to align claims management with business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify technology and process improvements and drive continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in disability claims management.
• Strong knowledge of leave-related laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, PFML, paid sick leave, PWFA, and pregnancy-related leave.
• Strong disability management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.

Nice to have

• Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Claims Professional (CCP), or a similar certification.
