Claim Representative, Auto Damage

Salary: $55,200–$91,100 annual base salary, plus potential performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Manage auto physical damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution and settlement, including total loss evaluations and repair oversight.
• Analyze policy terms, conditions, exclusions, coverage, liability, and vehicle damage to determine appropriate claim outcomes.
• Investigate claims, document findings, maintain accurate claim records, and determine settlement amounts within authority limits.
• Coordinate with appraisal teams, repair facilities, customers, claimants, representatives, and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate and communicate equitable settlements, including preparing denial letters and reservation of rights correspondence when appropriate.
• Adopt new technologies, system upgrades, and digital tools, particularly AI-enabled solutions, while maintaining productivity and service quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of auto claim handling or comparable claim experience, or successful completion of the hirify.global Auto Claim Representative training program.
• A bachelor's degree and two years of auto claim handling experience are preferred for the ideal candidate.
• Active adjuster license where applicable; relevant insurance licenses must be acquired and maintained within three months of starting.
• Proficiency with claims management systems, Microsoft Office, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Strong communication, customer service, judgment, organization, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
