Production Planner/Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. The position is temporarily based in Northeast San Antonio while the new manufacturing plant comes online, then moves to Brooks, 7515 Inner Circle Dr., San Antonio. This is a 100% in-office position and does not offer remote work.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on order priorities, material readiness, and work center capacity.
• Coordinate schedules across production, fabrication, engineering, purchasing, materials, assembly, shipping, and customer service.
• Review customer orders, validate ship dates, and adjust schedules for expedited orders, delays, shortages, and design changes.
• Use ERP tools to plan, monitor, and report manufacturing activities; INFOR experience is preferred.
• Analyze resource and material constraints, escalate capacity or delivery risks, and improve scheduling accuracy, lead times, and throughput.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including Kanban, visual management, standardized work, and improved ERP utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; INFOR experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning.
• Ability to work 100% in the San Antonio office and collaborate on site with cross-functional teams.
