Quality Inspector - Electrical

Company

Provides custom-engineered industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂, with in-house engineering, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, service, and aftermarket support.

What you will do

• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and customer expectations.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, voltage, and tolerance checks using multimeters, ammeters, insulation testers, and related precision tools.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformities, corrective actions, and inspection findings.
• Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve quality concerns and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain inspection records and component traceability during active manufacturing stages.
• Follow electrical procedures and workplace safety protocols, including work in varying conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical inspection, electrical work, or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and ANSI/IEC symbols.
• Experience using electrical testing and inspection tools, including multimeters and insulation testers.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, remain on foot for most of the shift, and work in heat, cold, dust, noise, at heights, and in confined spaces.

Nice to have

• Technical certification in electrical work or quality control.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Prior electrician experience or a commercial or industrial background.
