Finance Director, Robotics & Automation

Location: Apex, North Carolina, United States. Travel to global hirify.global locations is required, with approximately 25% travel to Robotics & Automation locations.

What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial analysis of the P&L and balance sheet, providing recommendations for business improvement.
• Own forecasting, planning, annual budgeting, financial targets, key metrics, and multi-year projections across the global business.
• Partner with business, commercial, operational, HR, and functional leaders on performance reporting, headcount planning, pricing, profitability, and strategic decisions.
• Analyze new business opportunities, customer pricing, product development, manufacturing strategy, acquisitions, and due diligence.
• Identify cost-efficiency opportunities, improve financial processes, and drive continuous improvement in a low-process-maturity environment.
• Oversee Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring reliable data sources, integrations, and real-time financial insights.

Requirements

• BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience, including required industrial manufacturing experience.
• Experience building finance functions, leading cross-functional teams, driving operational excellence, and engaging executives.
• Exceptional financial analysis, modeling, business partnering, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced MS Excel required; experience with Hyperion/HFM and Oracle or SAP preferred.
• Ability to work in Apex, North Carolina, and travel to global and Robotics & Automation locations as needed.
