Senior Director, Finance - Data Center (Data Storage)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite at the San Jose Great Oaks Headquarters

Salary: $233,500–$311,300 per year

What you will do

• Own annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and long-range financial planning for the Data Center segment.
• Lead revenue, gross margin, KPI, dashboard, scenario, and risk-and-opportunity management across a multi-product storage portfolio.
• Partner with Sales, Business Planning, Pricing, and the Data Center General Manager on forecasts, customer commitments, pricing, investments, and market expansion.
• Evaluate customer agreements, pricing concessions, supply commitments, product roadmap investments, and business cases against margin and company objectives.
• Lead monthly business reviews and present concise financial insights to senior and C-suite leadership, including executive and board-level planning.
• Build, develop, and support the finance organization while driving accountability, analytical rigor, continuous improvement, AI-driven forecasting, Power BI, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Progressive finance leadership experience with increasing scope, complexity, and responsibility.
• Experience in technology, hardware, semiconductor, storage, or manufacturing; HDD, SSD, or data storage experience is valuable.
• Experience owning revenue and gross margin for a large-scale, multi-product, multi-customer business and leading finance for a segment with direct P&L accountability.
• Advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, DCF, forecasting, data analytics, and executive communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Anaplan, plus cost accounting and manufacturing economics.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience partnering with hyperscale, cloud, or enterprise technology customers on complex commercial engagements.
• Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and modern FP&A technologies.
