Senior Director, FP&A - Retail Finance

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and investment analysis for Purchasing Power.
• Partner with merchandising, operations, technology, servicing, Accounting, and central finance teams to provide decision support.
• Analyze unit economics, customer and cohort behavior, margins, and operational KPIs to improve business performance.
• Build and modernize forecasting models, operational reporting, and dashboards connected to business drivers.
• Lead the adoption of AI and automation for recurring finance work, trend analysis, assumption testing, and reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team while building scalable processes for a growing business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related roles, including team leadership and development.
• Proven retail experience with knowledge of unit economics, gross margin management, merchandising and assortment strategy, promotional planning, and customer cohort performance.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, communication, and business-partnership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Workday, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.

Nice to have

• MBA or professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Snowflake.
• Practical experience using Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or other AI tools for finance and analytical work.
• Experience deploying AI- or automation-enabled forecasting, variance analysis, or reporting workflows.
