Network Engineer

Salary: $114,380–$177,300 per year, with a 10%–20% incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Engineer, implement, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks across campus, branch, data center, cloud, wireless, WAN, and remote-access environments.
• Design and support routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud networking, high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Engineer network security controls including firewalls, segmentation, VPN, network access control, DDoS protection, DNS, and DLP.
• Develop network automation and Infrastructure as Code for provisioning, configuration, validation, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Lead complex implementations, coordinate infrastructure changes, and serve as an escalation point for advanced technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while maintaining network documentation, standards, implementation plans, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience or equivalent proficiency and/or certification in a specialized network engineering field.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and professional experience.
• Strong enterprise routing and switching expertise, including dynamic routing protocols such as BGP.
• Experience with network security, firewalls, segmentation, VPN, access control, secure network design, and highly available enterprise networks.
• Experience with automation, scripting, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, source control, or automated deployment practices.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching, ACI/Nexus, ISE, Cisco or Meraki wireless, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls, Fortinet SD-WAN, Microsoft Azure networking, or Cloudflare connectivity.

Nice to have

• CCNA and/or CCNP certification.
• Experience applying AI-assisted tools to network engineering, automation, or operational workflows.
