Salary: $135,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the operations of a news team and set daily coverage priorities.
• Identify the most important stories and allocate resources to deliver comprehensive coverage.
• Coach reporters and editors to produce quality journalism, trend pieces, features, and analysis.
• Coordinate graphics, video, data, and newsletter coverage to strengthen story presentation.
• Develop the team’s ability to deliver real-time news.
• Develop audience-growth strategies and coordinate with Bloomberg News counterparts.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience as an editor and manager in a news role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Effective change-management skills and the ability to help drive a group.
• Ability to analyze complex legal and government actions and help reporters make them engaging.
• Ability to build relationships and influence news reporting and editing.
