Leadership Wage Instructor - COAST/TRAIN

Location: Telecommuter position based in Brownsville or Corpus Christi, Texas; applicants must reside in one of the specified counties in the Coastal Bend or Rio Grande Valley region. The role includes online, classroom, and field-based instruction.

Salary: $45.00 per hour

hirify.global provides emergency response training, workforce training, and technical assistance through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.

What you will do

• Deliver leadership training courses for hirify.global Workforce Development Programs.
• Provide online, classroom, and field-based skills instruction.
• Apply adult learning theories and varied learning styles to support learner success.
• Use multiple media formats to present course material.
• Assist with creating and updating curriculum content to meet learner needs.
• Work with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver and develop hirify.global Leadership courses.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable leadership training instruction.
• One year of adult education or training experience.
• Residence in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County, Texas.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Equivalent qualifications may include an associate’s degree with two years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field with no prior experience.
