Location: Corpus Christi, Texas; must reside in Nueces County, Texas

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service provides emergency response training, workforce training, technical assistance, and professional development.

What you will do

• Instruct TEEX Bleeding Control/Stop the Bleed courses, Kata in the Classroom, and Career Exploration presentations.
• Use knowledge of youth learning styles to maximize learner success and course effectiveness.
• Deliver classroom and field instruction and provide technical assistance.
• Use a variety of media to present course material.
• Assist with modifying and updating curriculum content to meet learner needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; four years of related experience with a high school diploma or GED may be considered.
• Two years of related experience in youth education or a related field, including first aid experience.
• Current or former experience as an EMR, EMT, paramedic, firefighter, law enforcement officer, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician’s assistant, or MD/DO.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Valid CPR Instructor certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Must reside in Nueces County, Texas.
