Location: Telecommuter role for candidates residing in Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Cameron, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, or Willacy County, Texas. Training is provided in Corpus Christi and Brownsville, Texas through online, classroom, and field-based instruction.
Salary: $5,833.34 per month

What you will do
- Deliver online, classroom, and field-based training in heavy equipment operations.
- Train learners in the operation of equipment such as aerial work platforms, backhoes, bulldozers, dump trucks, excavators, forklifts, loaders, maintainers, and skid steers.
- Apply adult learning theories and varied learning styles to support learner success.
- Use multiple media formats to present course material.
- Assist with creating and updating curriculum content to meet learner needs.
- Provide technical assistance in the heavy equipment specialty area.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years of heavy equipment operations experience, including two or more listed equipment categories.
- At least two years of adult education or training experience.
- Must reside in one of the specified Texas counties to be considered.
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Nice to have
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an applicable field may qualify for reduced related-experience requirements under the stated equivalency rules.
