Compensation Consultant

Location: Remote; Nashville, Tennessee preferred but not required

Salary: $77,000–$115,500 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Advise business leaders on compensation matters and recommend solutions aligned with compensation philosophy and governance.
• Support salary structures, pay grades, job evaluations, pay ranges, market pricing, and benchmarking for non-physician roles.
• Contribute to merit reviews, market adjustments, incentive planning, compensation reporting, and enterprise analytics.
• Analyze compensation data, internal equity, market competitiveness, and pay trends.
• Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, HRIS, and business leaders to maintain accurate and consistent compensation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience in compensation, total rewards, HR consulting, finance, or related analytical functions.
• Strong knowledge of compensation practices, FLSA, pay transparency, internal equity, market pricing, job evaluation, and salary structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across HR, Finance, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and business functions.

Nice to have

• CCP, SHRM, or HRCI certification.
• Experience in healthcare or matrixed organizations.
• Experience with Workday, MarketPay, Excel, and reporting platforms.
