Location: Rockford, Illinois, United States; territory includes Davenport, Iowa, Moline and Rock Island, Illinois, and Bettendorf, Iowa. Regular work with surgeons and clinicians in operating room environments.
Salary: $65,000–$118,000 annually, with the grade and salary varying by experience.

What you will do
- Sell Ethicon surgical devices and solutions, with a focus on energy and endomechanical platforms.
- Sell to surgeons, hospital decision makers, physicians, hospital institutions, and authorized distributors.
- Demonstrate the proper use of products to clinicians in operating room settings.
- Manage assigned accounts and territory priorities, forecast attainment, business planning, and sales opportunities.
- Handle customer questions and objections in accordance with product indications, sales methodology, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Build customer relationships, conduct education seminars, analyze market information, and execute professional and ethical sales presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant business experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology sales, or healthcare.
- Demonstrated exceptional achievement of sales objectives.
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- Knowledge of sales planning, customer relations, communication, negotiation, and compliant healthcare selling.
Nice to have
- Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience, especially operating room sales.
- Experience selling to highly educated or high-profile customer groups.
- Experience developing new and innovative markets.
- Strong time management, planning, collaboration, and team-oriented skills.
