Supervisory Practices & Analytics Co-Op

Location: Boston, MA, United States; employees work from the office 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.

Base salary: $19–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support the Investment Platform Morning Meeting process, including logistics, materials, discussion points, and follow-up actions.
• Develop and execute data-driven supervisory monitoring to identify trends, exceptions, and potential areas of heightened risk.
• Assist with conflicts-of-interest monitoring, model risk governance, periodic reviews, certifications, and related controls.
• Analyze data and prepare materials for supervisory meetings, management discussions, and escalation processes.
• Enhance supervisory dashboards, reporting, analytical tools, procedures, and monitoring methodologies.
• Lead monthly supervisory review meetings involving investment activity, investor coordination, risk assessment, escalation, and compliance decision-making.

Requirements

• Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program.
• Prior co-op experience is required.
• Strong academic record in finance, economics, business, risk management, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis or visualization tools; Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools are advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Interest in investment management, risk management, governance, or financial regulation.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
