Associate Account Manager

Location: United States-oriented role; Property and Casualty licensing is required for the state of business.

What you will do

• Handle daily account servicing, client inquiries, carrier communications, claims advising, endorsements, evidence of insurance, and auto ID cards.
• Process carrier downloads, website notifications, alerts, and account information in the agency management system.
• Support renewals by preparing summaries, obtaining and reviewing quotes, negotiating terms and premiums, and preparing client proposals.
• Bind coverage and issue renewal invoices while following up on accounts receivable items.
• Build effective relationships with clients and insurance carriers through email, phone, meetings, and conference calls.
• Expand technical insurance knowledge through education classes and individual study.

Requirements

• 1–2 years or more of similar or related experience.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze insurance quotes and make recommendations.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Math skills involving ratios, percentages, discounts, and commissions.
• Property and Casualty license required for the state of business; if not current, it must be obtained within 6–12 months and maintained through continuing education.
