Quality Engineer Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Syracuse, NY, United States. Onsite manufacturing role. Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Salary: $39,570–$62,546 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus may apply, and alternative shifts may include a shift premium.

What you will do

• Support production, process improvement, yield improvement, and engineering projects.
• Perform qualification experiments and prepare documentation confirming results.
• Format data and generate data sheets.
• Assist with failure analysis and statistical classification of failures.
• Apply structured problem-solving and data analysis methods in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical technology, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Knowledge of documentation and procedure writing.
• Organizational skills, structured problem solving, and statistical data analysis.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, Visual Basic, and code writing.
• Good communication skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and technical data is limited to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing engineering.
