Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (Manufacturing)

Salary: $143,500–$201,900 per year, plus incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial planning, reporting, and executive presentations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews and analyze results against plans, forecasts, and external expectations.
• Develop financial models for earnings forecasts, capital allocation, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Accounting, business units, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to identify performance drivers, risks, growth opportunities, and margin expansion initiatives.
• Improve forecasting accuracy, reporting processes, analytical tools, and decision-support capabilities.
• Lead and develop the corporate FP&A team through coaching, mentorship, and capability building.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, business-segment finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of public company financials, reporting, capital markets, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling.
• Experience presenting complex financial information to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems including Oracle and SAP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, publicly traded company environment.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent advanced credential.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, consumer products, or chemical-sector companies.
• Prior public company experience, including support for earnings calls, investor conferences, or Board presentations.
