Senior FP&A Analyst (Energy)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive reporting packages.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning by partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze departmental costs, manage cost allocations, and maintain standard costs, rates, and financial assumptions.
• Support commercial bids and business opportunities in collaboration with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Supply Chain, Sales, and Tax.
• Build financial models, perform scenario analyses, and deliver ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Develop standardized reporting, analytical tools, and financial processes while driving process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial reporting, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, MBA, or another relevant professional certification.
• Experience with Hyperion HFM, SmartView, Essbase, JDE, or similar ERP/EPM systems.
• Experience in energy, construction, industrial, or project-based industries.
• Experience supporting executive leadership with financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting.
